Silver Bullet July 11-13, Immersive Foraging and Cooking Course
Come out to the woods, forage with us, learn about preservation, natural yeasts, sourdough bread, and pasta.
Class begins on Monday night when you arrive and have a family-style meal over the open fire. We will take you through a tasting of our pantry items, discussing how they’ve been preserved and fermented. Tuesday morning breakfast will be served, and we will forage for several hours, going over the plants, mushrooms, and berries we collect and how to work with them. Lunch will follow along with bread class. For dinner we will incorporate our foraged items into a pasta dinner and class. Our bread will be served with dinner. Wednesday morning, we will have a quick breakfast and get you back on the road.
While you stay with us you will have time to read, write, forage, hike, ATV, mountain bike, star-gaze, and archery. There is plenty of fun to be had while you learn.
Everything is included in your accommodation.
We will have a check in at 5pm on Monday and a pick-up point to bring you back into our woods. We will also facilitate taking you out at 11am on Wednesday morning.
The Silver Bullet sleeps two people in a full-sized bed. The seating area can be converted to a twin bed if needed. The room is accessible by a small step; there is no ramp entry. There is a small kitchen area with a sink and camper stove for your morning coffee or tea. The Silver Bullet also has a small bathroom where you can take short showers and urinate only. Anything else should be done in the main cabin. The main cabin is accessible by ramp and is about a 50foot walk from the camper.
Pricing is for two people, all inclusive for two nights. Please understand we are unable to accommodate dietary restrictions. Once you book, you will be emailed a confirmation and more information about your stay.
***All sales are final. We are no longer able to process reschedules. If you are unable to make it to your reservation, we will resell your spot and refund you once it’s resold. There is a $100 processing fee.***
